Our activities are aimed at all
healthcare professionals involved in maternal and neonatal care from the start of
pregnancy until six weeks after birth.
BirthLink
was established to provide support and education for all caregivers involved in maternal
and newborn care. We seek to work with traditional and professional caregivers, and share
ideas and practices, to develop skills in our day-to-day work and clinical roles for the
benefits of mothers and babies everywhere.
Objectives
- To facilitate learning and development for safer midwifery,
obstetric and neonatal practice by running skills sharing, interactive workshops and
emergency skills training.
- To support neonatal departments through training, and improve
basic facilities for low birthweight and sick babies.
BirthLink workshops are centred on key care
